EKG Screenings for Student Athletes – July 24

Optimal Care Pediatrics is hosting a Nicklaus Children’s Hospital EKG screenings clinic with Dr. David Drossner, pediatric cardiologist, on July 24th from 2-5 p.m. The screenings are free and are being offered exclusively to Optimal Care patients that are middle and high school athletes. Sudden cardiac death occurs in student-athletes usually without advance signs or symptoms. EKG screenings can help protect your young athlete by detecting cardiac irregularities.
